Westgate New York Grand Central

The friendliest and most helpful staff no matter the time of the day. The whole Westgate team was amazing and made us feel at home during the week we spent there. The rooms were cleaned daily, the room was quiet and the A/C gave us no issues, although it could get loud at some points. Very spacious for two people, both the room and the bathroom. The shower pressure was good, and the common toilets on the ground floor were also spotless. We were of course able to leave our luggage in storage after check-out, and could also have packages delivered to the hotel before our arrival.

We really enjoyed our stay! The location was great. It's a short, simple walk to Grand Central, which is great for getting around the city. Easy to walk to some good restaurants in the area too. The rooms were tidy and clean, and we didn't have any issues with noise from other rooms. The blackout blinds are a plus! The staff were friendly also - a quick check-in (after accommodating a late arrival), responsive to requests, and they give bottles of water every day. There is also luggage storage available. We would definitely recommend staying here!

I was surprised by the spacious and well-decorated room. I slept very well because the bed was very comfortable, and I could not hear any noise from the street. Each room has a coffee machine and a fridge-bar that can be used for your products.

Nice, big room (for NYC). Very kind staff who let me check in early. Coffeemaker in the room which is a big bonus. Location was central enough. Very comfortable beds, my room was very quiet so I slept very well. Bar downstairs looked inviting, but I didn't try it.

The location is perfect for exploring Manhattan by foot or by public transport. It's also not too complicated to get to by car for those crazy enough to do so. At the time of our visit the area was pretty quiet and peaceful, compared much of the rest of NYC. The cleaning staff was also great.
